Quality and safety tests:
We are proud of our proven track record and perform vigorous testing to guarantee our precision engineering, tough frame structure and identify the most durable materials available. The +one bears all the hallmarks of Mountain Buggy’s bulletproof DNA. Nothing has been compromised.
Our testing programme includes all mandatory safety standards as well as many of our own tests, including:
Irregular surface test:
This is an extension of the EN standard irregular surface test: focused on durability and endurance of frame, fabric, and tyres. We have enhanced the test by pushing our buggies longer and further, with increased obstacles and weights.
To ensure that you have the most durable tyres on your buggy, we continue to undergo puncture resistance testing and tread wear resistance on all our tyres.
Stair ascent:
We have developed a vigorous test to prove the strength and durability of the frame and handle adjustors.
Climatic testing:
With our buggies being sold from equator to pole, many will be forced under some extreme temperature conditions. To prove we can handle anything, we have tested the standards tests below within extreme temperatures of 140°F to -4°F.
